The buckle & metal top on this belt most likely put it into the "western" style category, although compared to some of the more heavily embellished options out there's it's relatively tame. The main difference to your "rootin' tootin hollerin' & hootin" variety of western belt is the fact this sits on the thinner side. At only 2cm wide it's going to work well as a unisex accessory.

It's not extra long, you don't tie it up & let it hang down like every belt seemed to do a few years ago, it wasn't repurposed from a tie-down strap, it's just a leather belt. The leather itself isn't a typical smooth affair though, instead it's finished in a more weathered, natural finish.
