There's probably a million variations on this jacket but anything with this classic, workwear shape & pocket configuration is going to evoke memories of the incredible street photographer Bill Cunningham. Bill's iconic blue jacket was something he bought at corner stores in Paris due to it's hard wearing nature & utilitarian pockets. His remark is that he saw the garbage men wearing it & asked them where to get one, the rest is history.

Unlike the rich blue that Bill would wear (which has an uncanny resemblance to Études' signature hue) this is done in a garment dyed black which likely makes it more versatile for every day wear unless you're planning on making it your signature garment for the next few decades. This one has a few nice details that make it a bit fancier than your corner store special along with rivets to reinforce the stress points but in all honesty it's begging to be used every day. This one's ready for the long haul.
