So apparently aside from having a football team that some people absolutely love, Geelong, Victoria is also famous for wool. Thus we present a sweater knitted in Scotland from Geelong lambswool! Apparently although it once was specifically used to denote the finest wool from farms in Geelong (which was some of the finest in the world) it now is a de-regionalised designation for wool of the highest grade regardless of where in the world it was raised. Kinda disappointing really but there's a possibility that the wool from these sweaters was still brought from Australia, although given the high regards for Scottish wool it's probably more likely to have been sourced from the same country in which this sweater was also knitted.

Aside from that long-winded factoid there's not much else we can share about this sweater. It's knit into a relatively light weight, from an impossibly soft natural fibre that is often underrated for it's trans-seasonal properties. Many people often think of wool & they jump to conclusions of it being "too hot" or "itchy" but in reality the world's best wool can do whatever you want from it, it can be light & breathable if you want or it can be thick & warm. Being that this is an English summer piece it's pretty perfect for an Australian winter.

Any no, there will be no jokes about the "Sailor Boy" name.
