YMC JJ Rugby Shirt

$360.00 36000

Not sure who JJ was but we'll assume they liked a bit of rugby now & then. One of the colours we ran with for this entire season from YMC was green. You don't see much green outside of the classic olive hue very much & it's largely down to the fact that it's a tricky colour to get right. Much like yellow, it all comes down to the tone. Get it wrong & you'll be looking like you're due a trip to the doctor's surgery but nail it & you'll be living it up in a world of glory.

The colour that YMC produced in the stripes of this jersey well & truly fall into the latter category. It's not too blue, not too light, it's (as one might say) just right. The heavyweight cotton is woven in alternating stripes of the emerald hue & a nice ecru to break it up. Although sports people nowadays wear variations on the same basic principal of high-tech synthetic garments in body-hugging proportions, this shirt reminds us that the old adage of "they don't make them like they used to" rings true even for the traditional sport of rugby.

  • Heavy cotton woven stripe fabric
  • Herringbone button placket
  • Elastic cuffs
  • Made in Philippines

Relaxed fit, we recommend taking your normal size.
