Soulland Ryan Shirt Yellow

$250.00 25000

Not sure who Ryan is/was but whoever they were they must have had a thing for camp collar shirts. Although seemingly innocuous from a simple photo on a screen, in person the fabric of this top really comes alive.

Made from a mix of Rayon & linen into a finish not seen much outside of the 1950s, the weight of linen is accented with Rayon's synthetic sheen. Although most famous for being the super-flamable fabric of your grandad's optical-assaulting Aloha shirt, Rayon is actual woven from cellulose sourced as wood & agriculture byproduct. This waste, when teamed with the ever-underrated linen creates a tactile wonderland. The fabrics meet in a slubby hand feel, whilst the weighty structure of linen is at odds with the lustre that Rayon gives.

Something about this shirt feels like it needs to be worn with a tiny pair of swim shorts & a pair of well-loved penny loafers. Maybe a slightly-too-small, almost-feminine-shaped sunglasses too...

  • Camp collar short sleeve shirt with mother of pearl buttons
  • 220g fabric made from 60% Rayon, 40% Linen
  • Fabric made in Silven, Bulgaria
  • Garment made in Istanbul, Turkey
  • Woven label in OekoTex certified polyester.
  • Hangtags made of FSC certified paper and recycled plastic.
  • Polybag made in biodegradable plastic

Relaxed fit, we recommend taking your normal size.
