I wonder if people in New Bedford, Massachusetts are aware they're living in the very namesake of this fabric? Do you think they have a Bedford Cord festival where they all dress up in outfits made completely of this denim/corduroy hybrid material & have some sort of themed festival where some lucky couple will be named the King & Queen of the Bedford Cord Festival? Probably not but it'd be pretty funny if they did.
Maybe instead everyone in the town should just wear these Our Legacy jeans as a sort of official uniform, to show their pride in the fabric that was born in the town & has since kind of dropped off the traditional material radar. Come to think of it maybe people in the town are sick of being defined by a fabric from the 19th century... Sorry guys!
