When was the last time you ate jam on toast? It's pretty good. It's kinda weird that Americans call it "jelly". As a kid I always envisioned them spreading a bit of the old Aeroplane Jelly on a slice of toast but that's not really the case. Either way it's weird.

These pants are more jam sesh than strawberry jam but whatever your take, it doesn't really change things. They're pretty similar to the classic Gramicci Pant, that is to say they're exactly the same cut. The main difference is in the pigment dyed ripstop fabric & a slightly different pocket setup.
