Guest Denim Jacket Indigo$540
This is a sharp jacket, in more ways that one. First of all the fact it's built out of raw denim, which is sometimes referred to as "dry" denim due to the fact it's completely unwashed. Often when you've got your jeans they've gone through at least a few washes already in the manufacturing process, something that contributes to denim being an incredibly water-intensive fabric.
Regardless of that though it makes the fabric way more wearable out of the box. The flip side of that is raw denim is decidedly way rougher on the wearer in the beginning. When we say "sharp" we mean it, especially the chain stitched cuffs. Of course with wear this all goes away, the crispy structure eventually making way for beautiful creases & fades that only come from wearing a piece of clothing for years on end.
Whilst the fabric is solid, the jacket itself is cut in a completely different manner than you might expect. Contrary to what many (including us) might think, this isn't just a run-of-the-mill denim jacket, instead it comes with more than a hint of Études swagger. The length is a little longer, the pockets bigger & the cut squarer. This gives the jacket more of a coat shape than trucker, meaning it looks a lot sharper (call back) than you'd expect. The chrome buttons & contrasting stitch elevate things even further giving you a really interesting blend of utility & formality.
