Our Legacy Borrowed Shirt

$500.00 50000

Pictures & words do little to accurately describe this shirt but seen as how that's literally the only way we can communicate this then we'll have to make do...

This shirt is all about the fabric. Sure it has some lovely mother of pearl buttons & the cut is oversized to the max (a little more on that in a bit) but really it all pales in comparison to the impact that seeing & feeling this fabric in person does. It really is difficult to describe how it's created but basically it's made of alternating stripes of linen, going from solid weave to threaded vertically whilst horizontally dyed stripes add colour. Practically it means that whilst the horizontal weft of the fabric remains intact, the vertical threads skip every few passes to create the effect here.

What it creates is a fabric that has a high level of sheerness on aaccount of there literally being holes throughout it but it's all hidden thanks to the colouration. The fabric's deconstructed (or should that be "under-constructed"?) nature means that the stretch factor is high, so the regular oversized fit of the "borrowed" shirt is exaggerated tenfold. Over time, being linen, this garment is going to soften & morph to your body meaning it will be both the most insane shirt you own & the most comfortable.

  • 100% linen fabric
  • Delicate distressed open weave
  • Mother of pearl buttons
  • Fabric made in Lituania
  • Garment made in Portugal

Very oversized fit, for a more regular fit take 1-2 sizes down.

European sizing, please see below:

48 = Medium | 50 = Large | 52 = X-Large
